Tony Pizi

CTO, UBS Investment Bank’s Wealth Management America

Tony Pizi is a senior executive with in-depth expertise in technology and management of innovation. Currently the Chief Technology Officer at UBS Investment Bank’s Wealth Management America, a position he accepted in 2011, after a four year stint as Chief Information Officer – Platform Engineering at Deutsche Bank.

Perhaps Tony’s most well known role in the industry is as the innovator who developed the fundamental patent that forms the foundation for Cicero, Level 8’s flagship product, a patent for Distributed Adaptive Computing, and also developed several other patents pending.

Tony has also previously served as First Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Merrill Lynch Private Client Architecture Group. While at Merrill Lynch, he managed an elite team of technology professionals that transformed the Merrill Lynch Private Client branch and client direct business environment and received broad recognition in the financial services industry and by his professional peers.

In July 2000, Tony was recognized by the prestigious Enterprise POWER 100 award.
