Rohitha Fernando
Rohitha joined WSO2 in May 2008 as a Senior Software Engineer – User Interfaces.
He has over 10 years of experience in web-related technologies and had been mainly involved in GUI design & development of enterprise driven web-based software/applications, and also specialized in software user experience design for cutting edge and demanding web portal solutions.
He has held positions like Web Master, Senior Designer – Web Solutions and GUI Engineer previously and has additional expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Rohitha is the category editor for Sri Lanka (Regional > Sri Lanka > Business and Economy > Industrial > Manufacturing) in the Open Directory Project (ODP) – http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Sri_Lanka/Business_and_Economy/Industrial/Manufacturing/ well renowned as the largest and most comprehensive directory of the web – created and maintained by volunteers.
He has a NCC UK International Diploma in Computer Studies by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, and has followed the NCC UK International Higher Diploma in Computer Studies from the University of Oxford Delegacy of Local Examinations.
In his spare time Rohitha enjoys movies, music and reading, and cricket is his favourite game.
