Sameera Jayasoma
Sameera joined WSO2 in May 2008 and is a Senior Software Engineer. He is currently working in WSO2 Carbon and WSO2 Web Services Application Server teams.
He was an intern at WSO2 in 2007 where he developed an Axiom version of Rhino’s E4X implementation which is used in WSO2 Mashup server. He was a co-developer of the team which implemented Rampart2 which is a re-implementation of Apache Rampart. It is a high performance Web services Security module(Completely Axiom based and WS-Policy aware) for Apache Axis2. Sameera contributed to JAX-WS templates of Apache Axix2/Java Codegen tool for the Google Summer of Code program in 2007.
He was a member of the University team in ACM ICPC Regional Algorithm Competition held in Kanpur, India December 2006.
Sameera has a first class honors degree from the department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
Sameera is a sports enthusiast and enjoys travelling and photography
