Tyrell Perera
Tyrell joined WSO2 in May 2007 and is the product manager of WSO2 Mashup Server and WSO2 Gadget Server.
Immediately before joining WSO2, he worked as a Research Focus Lead for the R&D Labs of Virtusa (VRTU) a global system integrator. With extensive experience in Open Source technologies, Portals and Ajax applications, he was instrumental in providing consultancy and technology thought leadership for clients in Financial, Telecom and ISV sectors in both US and UK while working with delivery teams in Hyderabad, Chennai and Colombo in a tenure spanning 4 years. Prior to that, he worked with one of the leading buying offices in the Sri Lankan Fashion Industry developing software solutions as part of its MIS team.
Tyrell has a Bachelors degree in Computing & Information Systems with First Class Honours from the London Metropolitan University, UK and is currently reading for his MBA.
Tyrell is a car enthusiast and Top Gear remains his favorite TV show to date.
