    Lavi joined WSO2 in October 2009 as the Company’s first Vice President of Sales, to help build and spearhead the global enterprise sales and service teams.

    Lavi has more than 15 years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions and services to Fortune 500 companies, foundations, non-profits and government agencies.

    Prior to joining WSO2, Lavi was the Founding Principal of Cato Global LLC, of the McLean, VA-based global IT consulting and marketing firm. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Washington, DC office for Web application management company Bridgeline Software.

    He was the “Product Evangelist” at Q.Know Technologies, Inc. where his domain expertise in Financial Services and thought leadership in information technology helped customers in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Caribbean leverage their technology investments.

    Prior to its acquisition by Red Hat, Inc. Lavi was Vice President of Services at Akopia, Inc. where he helped build from the ground up the company’s professional services and customer support teams. Akopia’s service delivery teams used an open source ecommerce product suite to support clients like Toshiba, McGraw Hill, Looksmart.com, and Guthy-Renker.

    At OneSoft, Inc. Lavi’s 50 person practice of internet professionals delivered the company’s two largest customer websites: bostonproper.com and weightwatchers.com.

    As a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP Lavi provided process improvement and workflow analysis, performance improvement and change management services to some of the largest telecommunications, energy and insurance companies in the United States. His introduction to PwC began at Sallie Mae where he was a Systems Programmer working one of the largest document imaging projects in the world.

    Lavi has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Geography from Clark University in Worcester, MA and has done graduate studies in Human and Cultural Geography at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.
