Paul Broekhoven
Director, European Sales

With more than 20 years of experience in IT, from business development to sales and sales management, Paul Broekhoven joined WSO2 in June 2011 as Director of European Sales.

He spent the last 15 years at Sonic Software and Progress Software, specifically in the Integration/SOA market-space focusing on customer solutions such as Messaging, ESB, BPM, Governance and MDM, while also building a deep interest and involvement in open source and Apache.

At FuseSource, Paul was responsible for setting up and leading a successful European team offering services (subscriptions, consultancy and training) around Apache projects ServiceMix, ActiveMQ, Camel and CXF, to small and large enterprises in Europe and APAC.

He started his early career as a Product Manager for Marathon Computers, a hardware reseller and continued his career path as a Professional Services Manager at Informix, where he was responsible for delivering support, pre-sales, and services, as well as business development for new products in the integration space.

Over the past 10 years, sales and sales management have been Paul’s area of focus and he played a key role in the management team driving the growth and success of companies.
