The Apache Axis2 server is now bundled in to host sample back-end services, helping to demonstrate sample configurations in this new version of Apache Synapse which is currently under incubation at the Apache Software Foundation Web services project.

WSO2 is proud to announce the release of the Web Services Application Server (WSAS). Formerly known as WSO2 Tungsten, WSO2 WSAS, supports XML, SOAP and WSDL for secure and reliable communications, making it simple and effective to create, consume and manage Web services.

WSO2 released an alpha1 version of its Enterprise Services Bus, WSO2 ESB 1.0 this week. The lightweight, XML and Web services centric ESB is based on the Apache Synapse (currently under incubation at the Apache Software Foundation) and Apache Axis2 projects.
