Thilina Gunarathna, software engineer at WSO2, is among the many technology experts and gurus who will be instructing at the 20th annual software development conference and expo – SD West 2007.
SD West 2007, where software development professionals learn how to build better software, offers attendees over 200 classes in 14 subject areas. Highlighting the newest cutting-edge technologies and presenting a relevant core curriculum of development fundamentals, it combines traditional and next-generation development in a language neutral, platform neutral environment.
Thilina will be presenting an introductory as well as an advanced tutorial on Web services using Apache Web Services Projects including Apache Axis2. He will also be conducting a 90-minute class on server-side mashups.
Thilina is an active Apache Web Services commitor contributing to Apache Axis2 , Apache Axiom and Apache Kandula projects. He has been involved in the Apache Axis2 project since its inception. He is also the lead developer of the Apache Kandula2 project and the the main author of the BPEL-Mora enbeddable business process engine.
Thilina’s tutorials and classes are focused on beginner and intermediate level audiences.
SD West 2007 is being held from March 19 to 23, 2007 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
