WSO2 participates in Web Services/SOA on Wall Street conference

Paul Fremantle, to be on panel discussing “Integrating the Standards: Financial Messaging and the SOA Stack”

Co-founder and VP, Technology of WSO2, Paul Fremantle is also Co-chair of the OASIS Web Services Reliable eXchange Technical Committee, which is in charge of creating the industry standard for reliable message exchange over SOAP. He will be discussing how Web services standards, especially WS-RX, fit into the financial space at the conference that examines SOA technologies in financial markets.

The panel discussion will cover current and emerging best practice for Financial SOA, based on the experience of leading implementers. Special focus will be paid to FIX and FAST, Web Services and WS Reliable Messaging, FpML, and AMQP. The discussion targets decision makers looking for future proof architectures, where these messaging standards must interoperate.

The Web Services/SOA on Wall Street conference looks at how the technologies supporting Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) are being deployed by Wall Street and financial markets. The event will assemble Wall Street and global financial services IT decision-makers for a focused show and conference for SOA and Web Services, featuring Java, .Net, XML, AJAX and other Web Services technologies.

The Conference is held in New York on the 14th of February 2007.
