With CSA Membership, WSO2 Extends Commitment to Enabling Robust, Authentication and Identity Management in the Cloud Palo Alto, CA – December 14, 2011 – WSO2 today announced that it has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the non-profit organization with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing and education on the uses of cloud computing to help secure all other forms of computing. As a member of the Cloud Security Alliance, WSO2 will join the corporate member advisory council to provide guidance into strategic CSA initiatives. Additionally, WSO2 team members will complete the requirements to achieve the CSA’s Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK). The move extends WSO2’s commitment to enabling robust, policy-based security in the cloud. WSO2 first launched WSO2 Identity as a Service (previously named Cloud Identity) in February 2010. In May 2011, WSO2 was awarded the European Identity Award 2011 in the Cloud Provider Offerings category by analyst group KuppingerCole.
