WSO2 Presents Summer School Class on Handling Enterprise Data

Free WSO2 webinar-based training on August 13, will explore how to consume, access, store and analyze enterprise data with the WSO2 Carbon platform

Palo Alto, CA – August 6, 2013 – As more enterprises rely on information generated from the Web, mobile devices, cloud applications, and high-performance servers, they face new challenges in handling a broad mix of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. The fifth WSO2 Summer School class of 2013 will examine how to address these and other data management challenges facing organizations today.

The interactive online class, “Dealing with Enterprise Data in the WSO2 Platform,” is being offered at no cost as a part of the WSO2 Summer School 2013 program. The session will begin by reviewing the many forms that enterprise data can take, from highly volatile data, such as market trades and browser cookies, to static configuration file data. It will then explore the many data characteristics that a modern platform should support, as well as how the WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform. The online class will conclude by discussing options for consuming, accessing, storing and analyzing enterprise data in WSO2 Carbon.

Leading the session will be Sumedha Rubasinghe, WSO2 senior architect and chair of the WSO2 data technologies management committee, who focuses on the development of the WSO2 Carbon Core, WSO2 Data Services, WSO2 Governance Registry, WSO2 Business Activity Monitor, and WSO2 API Manager. Sumedha has contributed to the successful implementation of data, SAP and repository-based integration projects, as well many WSO2 QuickStart development consulting engagements.
