More than a thousand IT professionals took advantage of the WSO2 SOA Summer School program to gain valuable insights into SOA implementation best practices. Now, by popular demand, WSO2 is providing a special interactive 1-day workshop Colombo, Sri Lanka. It will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Cinnamon Lakeside (formerly TransAsia Hotel).
The full day workshop will help attendees to gain an overall understanding of SOA concepts and approaches to implementing end-to-end SOA solutions. The workshop will review the SOA enterprise architecture patterns that were introduced in the first SOA Summer School session. The following sessions will dive into SOA implementation scenarios for enterprise service bus (ESB), security, mashups, governance, and business process management (BPM). Also included will be a discussion on how languages like C, C++ and PHP can provide better SOA performance.
The SOA Workshop will be led by senior technical experts at WSO2 and will feature a special talk by Sanjaya Karunasena, Chief Software Architect of the ICT Agency. ICTA is proactively looking at SOA as the technology backbone for Citizen Centric Government Services.
The WSO2 SOA Workshop is supported by ICTA and SLASSCOM. More details on the program and how to register are available on the main event site http://wso2.com/events/2009-sl-soa-workshop/
