WSO2 to Present Technical Webinar on Using the WSO2 ESB to Simplify Enterprise Integration

WSO2 Webinar on May 10, Explores Enterprise Integration Concepts and How the Configurable WSO2 ESB Can Minimize the Coding Required to Connect Applications Palo Alto, CA – May 2, 2012 – Today organizations rely on a variety of software applications to efficiently carry out their business functions. However, synchronizing these heterogeneous applications can impose significant challenges, since it requires enterprises to integrate different programming languages, platforms, data formats, protocols, and quality of service (QoS) requirements. To help IT architects take advantage of their software deployments, WSO2 will present a free webinar on how to simplify integration by using the highly configurable WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The one-hour technical session, “WSO2 Intro Webinar: Simplifying Enterprise Integration with Configurable WSO2 ESB," is being held on Thursday, May 10, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Pacific. For more information, visit http://wso2.com/library/webinars/2012/05/wso2-intro-webinar-simplifying-enterprise-integration-configurable-wso2-esb. Simplifying Enterprise Integration The webinar will introduce the basic concepts and common challenges associated with enterprise integration. Additionally, it will explore the features and services offered by an ESB, including the ESB pattern for solving enterprise integration problems. The session also will examine how the core capabilities of the WSO2 ESB provide enterprise architects with a highly configurable approach to service-oriented architecture (SOA) integration that minimizes the need for coding. The webinar will be presented by Hiranya Jayathilaka, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus product lead and a member of the WSO2 integration technologies management committee. Hiranya is an HTTP expert and spearheads the work on supporting REST APIs within the WSO2 ESB and WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform. He is a long-time committer on the Apache Synapse and Apache Xerces2/J projects; author of the FIX transport for Apache Synapse; and a contributor to several other open source projects, including Apache Derby and Apache Web Services.
