WSO2 to Present Webinar Series on Enterprise Integration Best Practices

Webinars will examine how to optimize application integration, implementing security patterns, JMS solutions and REST APIs using the WSO2 integration platform

Palo Alto, CA – May 6, 2014 – As enterprises rely on more applications to handle a range of business functions, they face increasing challenges to connect with various programming languages, platforms, data formats, and protocols—while meeting quality of service (QoS) requirements. To support these requirements, WSO2 will present a series of technical webinars to help IT professionals strengthen their enterprise integration best practices using the WSO2 integration platform. The five webinars will run May 8 - June 5, 2014.

May 8: Introduction to WSO2 Integration Platform - Concepts and Theories

This webinar will begin by examining the basic concepts and common challenges associated with enterprise integration. It then will introduce the WSO2 integration platform, including core capabilities and key features for service-oriented architecture (SOA) integration. Additionally, the session will demonstrate sample integration scenarios using the WSO2 integration platform.

May 15: Security Patterns with WSO2 ESB

Security plays a significant role in service integration. This webinar will explore how WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (WSO2 ESB) supports major security patterns to strengthen an SOA-based infrastructure. It also will highlight major performance improvements and new features in WSO2 ESB.

May 22: Implementing JMS Integration Solutions with WSO2 ESB

This webinar will examine application integration best practices using the Java Message Service (JMS) API and WSO2 ESB. It will cover how to implement messaging patterns, such as point-to-point and publish/subscribe. Additionally, the session will discuss how to manage messages in transactional mode and ensure message delivery.

May 29: RESTful Integration with WSO2 ESB

This webinar will explore how Representational State Transfer (REST) provides a lightweight approach for building distributed systems. It will examine how to configure REST APIs and resources with WSO2 ESB. Additionally, the session will review how to extend JSON support for RESTful integrations, design APIs with URI templates, and apply URL mapping techniques. Finally, the webinar will present a coffee shop example with REST APIs.
