Technical tutorial will examine implementing PaaS solutions on OpenStack to accelerate IT agility; hands-on workshop will discuss how to deploy WSO2 PaaS on the SUSE Cloud IaaS
Palo Alto, CA – November 6, 2013 – WSO2 today announced that WSO2 Vice President of Technology Evangelism Chris Haddad will present two sessions at SUSECon 2013 that examine best practices for implementing open source platform as a service (PaaS) on infrastructure as a service (IaaS) technologies. WSO2 is a gold sponsor of SUSECon 2013, which will run November 12-15, 2013 at the Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
“PaaS on OpenStack: Give App Teams What They Want While Accelerating IT Agility” is a technical tutorial session. In it, Chris will discuss how developers can take advantage of two 100% open source WSO2 PaaS solutions running on the OpenStack IaaS to transform software delivery into an agile, on-demand application environment:
- WSO2 Private PaaS (formerly WSO2 Stratos) is the industry’s most complete, open enterprise-grade platform as a service
- WSO2 App Factory enables continuous cloud delivery through a shared, self-service, multi-tenant and elastic enterprise DevOps platform
“Deploying WSO2 Stratos PaaS on SUSE Cloud IaaS” is a hands-on workshop. During the session, Chris will explore how DevOps teams can deploy WSO2 Private PaaS on the SUSE Cloud IaaS to readily develop auto-scaling Web applications.
In addition to the two SUSECon sessions, demonstrations of WSO2 Private PaaS and WSO2 App Factory will be available at the WSO2 booth.
