Seshika is recognized as an industry thought leader in the financial technology domain. She frequently speaks at international technology conferences, where she shares her insights and expertise on various topics such as open banking, security and privacy, digital identity, data science, and digital transformation.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics, UK. She is a British Chevening Scholar and holds a national patent for her invention, the Trusted Cheque Protocol, which also received the Presidential Award for Best National Invention in Public Welfare in 2009.

In addition to her remarkable professional accomplishments, Seshika actively advocates for women in STEM fields, working to promote gender equality and inclusivity. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, calligraphy, and off-road cycling.
