Wayne State College partnered with six other Nebraska colleges and universities to deploy a joint PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Information system. But 18 months into the two-year deployment process, Wayne State’s IT department faced a common problem – keeping two systems in sync through a transition period. Wayne State’s E-MAS student admission system remains separate, but when students apply to the college, their information needs to be transferred to the PeopleSoft system. WSO2’sWeb Service Framework for PHP provided a straightforward solution for connecting the systems through the PeopleSoft Web service interface.
