Rohan Samarajiva, is Executive Director of LIRNEasia, a regional ICT policy and regulation research and capacity building organization, based in Colombo but active across South and Southeast Asia. He is Chairman of the Lanka Software Foundation and serves as Senior Advisor to the Networking Grassroot Movement of Sarvodaya (Sri Lanka’s leading Community Based Organization) and on the ICT Subcommittee of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the editorial boards of seven academic journals and writes an online business column.

James Clark has been contributing to the Open Source community for nearly 20 years. In the past 15 years, his work has focused on SGML/XML, where he is a renowned pioneer of these technologies. Since its publication in February 1998, XML has achieved widespread industry acceptance as a key technology for the future development of the Web. In 2001, James was awarded the first XML Cup.

Founder, Chairman & CEO of WSO2 Dr Sanjiva has been involved with open source for many years. Sanjiva was the original creator of Apache SOAP and has been part of Apache Axis, Apache Axis2 and most Apache Web services projects. He is a member of the Apache Software Foundation.
In 2003, Sanjiva founded the Lanka Software Foundation, a non-profit organization formed with the objective of promoting Open Source development, not usage, by Sri Lankan developers. He is currently its Chief Scientist and a Director. LSF’s success stories include many Apache Web services projects and Sahana, the predominant disaster management system in the world.

Award winning CTO, Paul is the co-founder of WSO2 and spearheads WSO2’s overall product strategy.Paul’s involvement in Open Source goes back to the original Apache SOAP project, where he donated code to enable access to Enterprise JavaBeans. He has also led IBM’s involvement in the Axis C/C++ project.
Paul has published many articles, both on the Web and in traditional forms, and has spoken at numerous industry conferences, including ApacheCon, Colorado Software Summit, XML Europe, Software Architecture, and others. In addition, Paul has published two books: Building Web Services in Java, 2nd Edition, and The XML Files.

While initially Jonathan lead the WSO2 Mashup Server team as the Director of Mashup , He now serves as the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at WSO2.
Jonathan is trained in both software development and product design. He has won awards for his design accomplishments including the ID Magazine Design Distinction award in 1995, and awards for the 1994 Apple Interface Design Competition for a project designing a handheld digital computer/network communicator for 4-6 year olds.

Vice President of Sales Lavi, focuses on building and spearheading the global enterprise sales and service teams.
Lavi has more than 15 years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions and services to Fortune 500 companies, foundations, non-profits and government agencies.

VP of Engineering. Samisa holds over 10 years industry experience, working for both software systems integrators and software vendors with global exposure. Samisa has published many articles, and has spoken at numerous industry conferences, including ApacheCon, ZendCon, IndicThreads while publishing two books RESTFul PHP Web Services, and PHP Team development. He is one of the original contributors to the Apache Axis C++ and Apache Axis2 C projects of the Apache Software Foundation.

Director of Solutions Architecture Asanka carries 10 plus years of industry experience working on projects ranging from desktop and web applications through to high scalable distributed systems and service-oriented architectures in the financial domain, mobile platforms and business integration solutions.

Software Architect Dr. Srinath Perera is an expert in Web Services and Distributed Systems. His work over the past years has mainly revolved around Web services, E-science, and Grid.
Dr. Srinath is also a committer of Apache Axis, Axis2, and Geronimo, and a co-founder of Apache Axis2.

Senior Manager, WSO2 Platform as a Service Azeez, works on ensuring that all WSO2 products are developed in a manner that the entire WSO2 platform can be provided as a service, while ensuring that WSO2 software development adheres to standards, including coding standards & maintainability standards.
He is an elected Member of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) and also a Project Management Committee (PMC) member and committer on a number of projects at ASF

Senior Software Architect Shankar is a specialist in distributed computing, natural language processing and computer security. Being exposed to the industry for over 4 years, Shankar has significant architecture and development experience on software development and after sale support in the telecommunication domain.

Architect & Senior Manager Prabath, oversees the WSO2 Carbon platform and it’s security aspects. Holding three and half years experience in Microsoft .NET, Prabath worked on adding OpenID, OAuth, XACML and Kerberos support for WSO2 Carbon platform.

Prabath has spoken in numerous conferences, including ApacheCon, OSCON, Apache Asia and WSO2 SOA Workshop. He is a committer and Project Management Committee (PMC) member of Apache Axis2.

Sumedha is an Architect & Product Manager at WSO2. He oversees Governance & Tooling aspect of WSO2′s family of products. His special interest in database engines pushed Sumedha to design & develop WSO2 Data Services Server during his early days at WSO2.
Sumedha carries 10 plus years of industry exposure in multiple domains such as e-procurement, travel management, logistics & health care. He has been involved in projects developing applications from handheld devices, desktops to large scale web based applications for global clients.
Sumedha is a committer to Apache Software Foundation as well.
