This podcast by Sanka Samaranayake emphasizes on the role and importance of WS-Policy and it's Apache implementation, Apache Neethi in Web services deployment. He also speaks on the standardization process of WS-policy, WS-Policy assertions and how to use WS-Policy as a configuration language for Web services extensions.

Sanka is a software engineer at WSO2, Inc. He contributes to the Jakarta-BSF project where he co-authored BSF3, an implementation of JSR223. Sanka also represents the JSR265 expert group of the Apache Software foundation. He is currently working on the WS Commons – Policy framework and its Apache implementation - Apache Neethi.
