Web services is taking over the way in which the world operates. This also means that Web services are becoming advance enough to cater to our complex needs. In order to implement Web applications that provide complex features in a real world environment, although Web services are stateless by nature, now UPI needs to add a layer above it to provide session management. Deepal Jayasinghe in his article mentions, "The stateless nature is one of the main characteristics of Web services, but it is a limitation for advanced Web services developers". His artcle explores the four levels of sessions in Apache Axis2 to address enterprises-level Web service development issues.
