WSO2 Stratos is a complete SOA and developer platform offered as a self-service, multi-tenant, elastic runtime for private and public cloud infrastructures. In this session, Paul Fremantle, CTO and Co-Founder of WSO2 will present a deep technical dive into Stratos, WSO2's Platform-as-a-Service.

Paul FremantlePaul will lay out the foundations of WSO2 Stratos and discuss the creation of a multi-tenant, elastic, metered runtime. This session will cover the details of the internal model of WSO2 Stratos, as well as looking at ways in which WSO2 Stratos can be used. Because WSO2 Stratos is an Open Source Platform-as-a-Service this is a unique opportunity to understand how a large scale cloud native system has been built and run.

Paul will cover these topics and more:

  • Understanding the services WSO2 Stratos offers
  • How does WSO2 Stratos protect security between tenants
  • What is the programming model? Super-tenant vs. Sub-tenant APIs
  • Futures and directions.
