Governance is central to an effective enterprise SOA. It enables the transformation of business policies into metadata-based rules, and it assists in automating the validation and enforcement of policy compliance in both design-time and runtime environments. Today, complex IT scenarios with interactions spanning heterogeneous systems are placing greater demands than ever on SOA governance, since the constant changes to these systems open a deployment to greater uncertainty and risk. Having the right SOA governance model in place is critical to mitigating this risk and maximizing business performance.
Join Senaka Fernando as he examines the key governance challenges faced by an organization and how the WSO2 Governance Registry can assist developers in overcoming them. He will discuss the architecture and key features of the WSO2 Governance Registry and review how it combines an “out of the box” governance model with a highly extensible framework that can be customized to support business-specific requirements.
Additionally, Senaka will discuss common use cases for modeling, managing and monitoring people, processes and policies. These include support for SOA governance, configuration governance, development process governance, design and run-time governance, lifecycle management, and team collaboration.Presenter
