Building an API Centric SOA with WSO2 API Manager - Wednesday, April 02, 2014

Service reuse, loose coupling, discoverability, and governance are some of the promises of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). But clearly, SOA did not deliver everything as promised. Many enterprises have a single client for a service, or developers re-writing the same logic in different services. Converting a Service to a managed API can solve most of these anti-patterns.

A managed API has many faces; a solid functional implementation, well-defined interface, documentation, subscription capabilities, standard model for authentication, and authorization among others. Once managed APIs are in place, enterprises can move ahead, connecting their businesses internally or to the external world.

In this session, Sumedha Rubasinghe Senior Software Architect at WSO2, will discuss why WSO2 API Manager is a critical component in any connected business and how your enterprise can benefit from it.
