Hi Folks,
We have been encountering considerable number of intermittent bugs which are
extremely hard to reproduce in successive attempts. Most of these issues are
related to class loading or registry separation.
eg:-
[1] https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON-6698 - Server startup fails with
ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.commons.digester.Rule
[2] https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON-6699 - ERROR - Failed to load Policy
with ID EncrOnlyAnonymous. The Policy does not exist - policy collection of
the service is missing after restarting config registry (random issue)
[3]https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON-6366 -The location at which the
database driver jars are required to placed needs to be well defined, and it
must work at all times.
When we encountered these random failures, we contacted the relevant
developers and showed them the logs etc.. However, these issues cannot be
reproduced with an exact set of steps. IMHO, we must analyze these errors
and review the code/design before doing Carbon-3.0.0 release.
Regards
Charitha
