This document explains how WSO2 Carbon Studio should be installed in to Eclipse.
IntroductionWSO2 Carbon Studio is a fully tooling environment which facilitate you to develop, test, deploy and test WSO2 Carbon Artifacts.
Download and Install (Offline Installation)
Latest Carbon Studio release includes several third party Eclipse plugins.
Next click on the button Add to add the WSO2 Eclipse IDE Tools P2 Repo
If you have already downloaded the WSO2 Carbon Studio binary distribution select the downloaded ZIP archive from the file system by clicking on the Archive button.
If you wish to install tools online type the update site url http://dist.wso2.org/p2/carbon-studio/releases/1.0.9
to add the site.
If you want you may uncheck/untick
Contact all update sites during install to find required
software to stop Eclipse from installing updates of existing eclispe features
Then click on Next on the wizard page which allows you to review the the items to be installed.
Click Next and then accept the license agreement and click Finish .
When the installation is done, it will ask to restart the workspace.
Once Eclipse is reloaded, go to Fie -> New -> Other and you will see a category called WSO2.
Now you have successfully installed WSO2 Carbon Studio.
For online installation of all the WSO2 Eclipse Tools use the update site url: http://dist.wso2.org/p2/carbon-studio/releases/1.0.9/
Start Eclipse and Go to Help -> Install New Software .
Click Add and point update site url as below. Then click OK.
It will list all the features available with WSO2 Carbon Studio.
Choose the features you want to install and follow the same steps as listed above in offline installation.
