Rapid changes in technical and business requirements doesn’t effect the use of Master Data in the enterprise. It is rather a matter of changing Master Data into different forms or the data model, and updating the Master Data using the different data models used in the enterprise.
This is a major challenge that SOA architects and developers face today. As a workaround data duplication can be seen in most solutions. However, this workaround does not provide a permanent solution and can lead to system instability as well as data inconsistency in the long run.
In this session Asanka and Supun will provide architects and developers insights on how to leverage existing Master Data and Master Data Repositories when building solutions. They will cover the advantages of Master Data, introduce MDM pattern and VMDM (Virtual MDM) concepts, and the different approaches to implement MDM pattern and implementation details using the WSO2 middleware platform.
