WSO2 Presents Summer School Class on Technologies and Best Practices for Communicating and Visualizing Business Data

Free WSO2 webinar-based training on August 20, will discuss use cases and solutions for discovering, sharing and presenting business information using WSO2 technologies

Palo Alto, CA – August 13, 2013 – Today, enterprises are harvesting massive amounts of diverse data from Web interactions, mobile devices, and sensors. However, this information is only as valuable as the ability to present it in a meaningful way. The sixth WSO2 Summer School class of 2013 will address this challenge by examining how to create a user experience layer for communicating and visualizing data effectively.

The interactive online class, “The Importance of Data Communication and Visualization – WSO2's Story of Taking Data to Screen,” is being offered at no cost as a part of the WSO2 Summer School 2013 program. It will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Pacific. To participate, visit https://wso2.com/library/webinars/2013/08/the-importance-of-data-communication.

The session will begin by exploring how, as business requirements evolve to meet new opportunities, they affect the ways in which data is used to support such functions as business intelligence, security and financial audits, and systems monitoring. It will then examine how the tools for discovering, sharing, and presenting this information, must be able to rapidly adapt to changing demands. The session will then discuss a range of use cases and how they can be supported by WSO2 technologies, such as the WSO2 User Engagement Server for developing dashboards, microsites and gadgets and Jaggery server-side JavaScript integrated development environment (IDE). Additionally it will introduce the concept of an “enterprise store” for bringing Apple Store or Google Marketplace simplicity to accessing gadgets, JavaScript libraries, and URLS microsites and dashboards.

Leading the session will be Nuwan Bandara, WSO2 technical lead and a product manager, who focuses on WSO2 User Engagement Server, WSO2 Enterprise Store, and Jaggery. In addition to his product development efforts, Nuwan has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, including identity solutions and systems integration for the telecommunications, banking and financial services industries.
