Sales & Channel Enablement Officer - BFSI

This critical role is meant to help maximise BU revenue by supporting regional teams to optimize the performance of sales and channel partners. As the Sales & Channel Development Officer, you will work with cross-functional leads within the BFSI team and the broader organization to develop and implement the BFSI sales & channel strategy and coordinate business development efforts with the regional teams. This role is multifaceted and requires a general understanding of the BFSI technology sector, corporate sales, and channel management functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the BFSI Vertical
    • Work with the BFSI leadership team to evangelize the team’s strategy to the regional teams, and gather feedback for better alignment with regional plans.
    • Formulate and maintain BFSI-specific components of the BFSI partner and sales enablement program.
    • Represent the BFSI team in regional BizDev calls as and when required.
    • Execute and optimize the BFSI partner and sales clinics.
    • Track regional BFSI ARR, pipeline and other metrics such as new logos and direct vs channel splits, identifying opportunities to optimize regional BFSI strategies, and accelerate deal closure and expand existing accounts.
    • Assist in the BFSI partner vetting and on-boarding process.
    • Be a catalyst for optimizing the BFSI sales and channel development program by ideating and owning special-projects such as certifications and enablement programs.
  • Working with Regional Teams & Channel Managers
    • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate Partner and Sales enablement plans.
    • Assist with BFSI-specific partner co-marketing activities within the regions, in coordination with the BFSI marketing and technical teams.
    • Assist with and contribute to BFSI-related regional GTM Plans as needed.
    • Assist with and conduct BFSI-specific partner performance reviews as needed.
    • Take feedback from regions and partners to identify areas of improvement, and work with the BFSI leadership team to introduce workarounds and/ or new initiatives to improve existing strategic plans and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in Sales & channel management or a keen interest in becoming a domain expert in channel management is desirable.
  • Knowledge or familiarity of the global BFSI sector.
  • Knowledge or familiarity in the enterprise software sales/channel domain.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, project management, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to interact productively and openly at all levels of the organization and external constituencies.
  • Ability to learn internal processes quickly and map them to your business knowledge to add value to the BU and the company.
  • Advanced critical thinking that blends observation, data, and fact-based insight with intuition and foresight.
  • A self-starter who is not afraid to speak up and share opinions.
