Senior Marketing Officer - Creative

As a Creative Designer for the Corporate Marketing team, you will utilize your graphic design expertise and knowledge of industry design trends to create visual communications that convey messages in an effective, and aesthetically pleasing manner to our various audiences. You need to be a creative thinker, be aware of the latest design trends, understand the stylistic preferences of the different audiences that WSO2 targets, and be a great project manager to balance your workload to meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand different audience demographics and their creative preferences. Tailor creatives accordingly to appeal to these preferences.
  • Design promotional material including banners, brochures, ebooks, small animations, and other graphics for both internal and external use.
  • Design and develop responsive web layouts according to best practices, brand guidelines, and target audience.
  • Design and develop responsive email templates according to best practices, brand guidelines, and target audience.
  • Create customizable templates that can be used for multiple purposes including presentations, letterheads, business cards, etc.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the exact requirements based on the goals and objectives defined by the campaign owner.
  • Be aware of the latest industry trends in the creative space and apply those in different marketing designs.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, highly engaged, highly curious team culture.

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-3 years experience in a related role.
  • Skills in graphic design with a good sense of design and branding best practices.
  • Sound understanding of website design principles.
  • Working Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of creating simple animations.
  • Organized and efficient multitasker.
  • Digital or print production expertise.
  • Ability to manage the requirements of multiple high-pressure deadlines.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A good sense of creativity.
  • Ability to communicate with empathy.
