WSO2’s Choreo is a digital innovation platform that allows users to develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications at scale. The Choreo team seeks a highly passionate, motivated, and high-performing individual who can work independently and proactively as a Senior UX Engineer. In this role, the selected candidate will work with the team to provide an enhanced user experience. Additionally, the role extends to product evaluation, support, cloud, etc. Most importantly, the selected candidate will maintain the balance between business needs and the user experience, while understanding the complexity of the proposals they bring in. In order to provide a better UX to users, the selected candidate will be expected to be familiar with Choreo and its practical uses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design user experiences based on established design principles and design strategy.
  • Rapidly prototype new ideas and develop mockups for other Software Engineers to implement.
  • Understand product and user requirements to develop, test, and ship software that meet their needs.
  • Review and improve the UX of Choreo.

Experience and Skills:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a User Experience Designer or equivalent (e.g. creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, etc.).
  • Expert-level skills in using design tools.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with multiple teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
