WSO2’s in-house security guru and Senior Director of Security Architecture, Prabath Siriwardena will conduct an open discussion on how you can kickstart and/ or further strengthen your enterprise security. Prabath has over 11 years of experience in this field and has authored many books including Advanced API Security: Securing APIs with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWS, and JWE.
He is a member of OASIS Identity Metasystem Interoperability (IMI) TC,OASIS eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC, OASIS Security Services (SAML) TC, OASIS Identity in the Cloud TC and OASIS Cloud Authorization (CloudAuthZ) TC. Prabath is also a member of Apache Axis PMC and has spoken at numerous international conferences including OSCON, QCon, ApacheCon, WSO2Con, EIC, IDentity Next and OSDC. He has more than 10 years of industry experience and has worked with many Fortune 100 companies.
Mifan Careem is the Senior Director of Solution Architecture at WSO2. He works closely with existing and potential customers of WSO2, assisting them in defining and iteratively implementing their business architecture goals and solution architectures that fit into the overall enterprise architecture of the organization. Mifan is an advocate for and specializes in API Management and marketplaces as a core for digital transformation - specifically on how enterprise API marketplaces contribute towards platform business models.
He works with Fortune 500/1000 customers and a range of large organizations which includes fintechs, telcos, and government agencies, assisting them in their digital transformation strategies via APIs as a product, providing guidance on platform business models using API marketplaces by implementing an effective and sustainable API management strategy. Based on his extensive experience in this space, Mifan advises the technology and business teams on the minimum viable architectures for building API marketplaces, which could then lead to new business and technology avenues, API business models, and API as digital product strategies.
Prior to his role at WSO2, Mifan headed the technology teams as the CTO at a technology startup focusing on eGovernment and Disaster Management ICT solutions and has served as a consultant to numerous clients and startup on strategic middleware projects and technology for digital transformation. He is also lead architect for many global projects, including the national initiative to build a cloud-based SOA platform for local government bodies in Sri Lanka.
Kasun Indrasiri is the Director of Integration Architecture at WSO2, and has worked as both software architect and product lead of WSO2 ESB with over seven years of experience in Enterprise Integration. He is the author of the book “Beginning WSO2 ESB.” Kasun is an elected member of the Apache Software Foundation, a Project Management Committee member and a committer for the Apache Synapse open source ESB project.
He is the founder of Silicon Valley Microservice, APIs and Integration Meetup, a vendor-neutral microservices meetup in San Francisco Bay area. Kasun is a regular speaker at WSO2 conferences held globally on topics related to Enterprise Integration and Microservices. He has conducted several talks at Bay area Microservices meetups and published several articles on the topic as well. Kasun has worked with many Fortune 100 companies and provided solutions related to Enterprise Integration and Microservices domains.
Asanka spearheads the company’s customer facing technical tasks and oversees the solution architecture and technical sales functions. He also provides consulting to key WSO2 customers and conducts workshops specifically targeted at enterprise architects and technical managers. Asanka has over 15 years of industry experience, which include implementing projects ranging from desktop and web applications through to highly scalable distributed systems and SOAs in the financial domain, mobile platforms, and business integration solutions.
