Application development teams continue to undergo a structural shift towards business enablement and away from technical debt. Teams desire to re-invent software delivery into an agile, on-demand application environment and change the business-IT dynamic. When changing the business-IT dynamic, we see leading clients:

  • Focus on short sprints, incremental testing, and rapid iterations
  • Reduce time to provision and configure application development and application run-time environments
  • Incorporate DevOps practices including continuous integration, continuous build, continuous test, and continuous delivery
  • Automate the application development lifecycle, and let users control and manage the life cycle
  • Use real-time development status reports in daily standup/scrum meetings

WSO2 App Factory enables teams to implement DevOps practices, automate governance, and focus on business-oriented personalization, self-service, monetization, and analytics.
