Paul Fremantle

Paul is known as the father of the Cloud Native computing concept and has a long history of working in open source and middleware, including work on Apache Axis2, Synapse and WSO2 Carbon. Most recently, Paul completed a PhD looking at how personal middleware can improve IoT security and privacy from the University of Portsmouth. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Oxford, has published a number of peer reviewed articles and has two patents. Paul previously worked at IBM where he was an STSM.

As part of the WSO2 Solutions Architecture team, Johann currently plays two roles. He is a solutions architect for the EU region, in which capacity he works with numerous customers in the region and provides architectural consultancy in building their integration and identity and access management (IAM) solutions. He is also a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IAM, in which capacity he works with global customers on designing solutions and solving problems related to IAM.

Johann has been a speaker at many conferences including WSO2Con, conducted several technical webinars and workshops, and delivered guest lectures at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

Anupama Pathirage is Senior Technical Lead and a key member of the Ballerina team since its inception. She has contributed to Ballerina programming language, in various areas such as VM, transactions, tables, database clients and data handling. She has successfully carried out several customer engagements providing support for integration and data services projects as well.

Malintha Amarasinghe is an Associate Technical Lead who is part of the WSO2 API Manager team for nearly 4 years. He is mainly involved in research and development aspects of WSO2 API Manager. He has engaged with a number of customers to provide consultation for designing and building API management solutions. He occasionally works as part of the API Manager Support Team providing technical support for WSO2 customers.
