The recent release of WSO2 Carbon helps software architects and developers to seamlessly add product capabilities to their enterprise middleware projects as they grow. At the heart of Carbon is the ability to mix and match components from separate key functional areas to adapt the platform to your specific needs.

After a brief introduction to the Carbon platform and OSGi technology, your presenter Sameera Jayasoma, will illustrate extending this comprehensive middleware platform by developing a sample Carbon component and provisioning it into the platform.
