Although a public cloud has access to an "infinite" amount of computing resources, it's not for everyone. If you need to store your data in data centers that are controlled for security or policy decisions, a public cloud proves to be of little use. In such cases, a private cloud environment is the answer. A complete cloud computing environment can be used by your developers within data centers to build their applications on. They can also create test environments as and when required with almost no help from infrastructure teams.
This session will address the why, what and how of private cloud environment setup in your data centers. It will also highlight the advantages of having WSO2 Stratos on your private cloud environment so that users can create all necessary resources to start developing applications without having to wait around.
Chintana, an Associate Tech Lead has worked closely with the WSO2 Cloud Platform team. He is also a committer of the Apache Stonehenge project.
