Understanding and applying the theory behind REST, has always been a challenge for enterprise applications. After many years of the emergence of RESTful Web services, the industry now seems to have learnt lessons in terms of applying theory in practice. While it is important to stick to the principles, to ensure the correct and best use, it is also important to meet real world challenges in practice.

The questions along the lines of meeting enterprise aspirations such as scalability and security, in the context of using RESTful design is well understood today, and Architects know when to mend the rules or conventions to get the job done.

In this webinar, Samisa Abeysinghe, VP of Engineering at WSO2, will explore the purity and pragmatism of REST, in the new “API Age”.

Samisa Abeysinghe VP, Engineeering Samisa Abeysinghe, WSO2 vice president of engineering, has more than a decade of experience working for systems integrators and software vendors with global exposure.
