Identity & access management requirements have rapidly evolved in the past couple of years. Organizations can not survive with authentication and authorization mechanisms that only span a single boundary of trust. Organizations often provide and consume services across trust boundaries, which may include partners, subsidiaries, customers or suppliers and may span across multiple buildings, cities, states, countries and even continents. Complicating the identity and security environment, the interactions may span heterogeneous operating environments. A state-of-the-art Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) solution today has to have the ability to provide secure access between systems regardless of physical distance, operating environment, and trust domain.
Tune into this summer school session conducted by Selvaratnam Uthaiyashankar and Johann Nallathamby to learn how the WSO2 platform is capable of delivering solutions for Federated Identity requirements. The session will describe real world projects with WSO2 customers.
Johann joined WSO2 in December 2011 as Software Engineer. A B.Sc. Engineering graduate from the department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Johann is also a Sun Certified Java Programmer and is currently reading for his certification in management accountancy from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
