Big data lets you collect, process and store large amounts of data with the goal of extracting insights from this data. These technologies are being used to a great extent by many organizations and play a key role in decision making.

And if you are not dealing with them right now, the chances are that you will likely deal with big data technologies soon. Even though you can build your solution ground up, you will have to deal with many complications such as failures, scale, and moving data between many machines. However, there are many open source and commercial middleware that can address these problems. By building your big data solution using these middleware, you can build a solid solution and save both time and money.

In this webinar, we talk about what big data is and discuss the key decisions you will have to make while building a Bigdata solution. We will also focus on data collection technologies, data storing technologies like Cassandra, data processing technologies like Hive and Hadoop, and complex event processing technologies, as well as walk you through several use-cases.
