Re-architecting systems using architecture styles like SOA and patterns like EDA (event-driven architecture) is a common practice today. The re-architecture push comes with rapid, complex business requirements as well as technical requirements to facilitate high availability, scalability, and portability. The challenge exists in getting existing data repositories and data models to work with new architecture and ETL (extract transform load) is one such pattern with modern architectures to deliver data requirements.
Standalone ETL products can leave users with a host of doubts on how to integrate these products with their existing SOA infrastructure. The WSO2 Enterprise Middleware Platform (WSO2 EMP) offers a comprehensive suite of products that can be effectively used to seamlessly integrate an ETL solution to an existing organizational infrastructure.
In this webinar, Prabath Abeysekera - Associate Technical Lead will describe a reference architecture for ETL and information details using the WSO2 EMP. He will discuss
- Comprehensive and OOTB support for each aspect of the term E(xtract) T(transform) L(oad) provided via the WSO2 EMP.
- Extensive tooling support for ETL patterns.
- How to consistently develop data models that vary from simple data mappings to very complex data models.
- Demonstration of a sample scenario.
