WSO2 API Manager is a comprehensive solution for API Management with an out-of-the-box API publisher and a store that allow you to publish and advertise your organization’s APIs. WSO2 Identity Server is an Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution that offers the industry’s first Enterprise Identity Bus (EIB), and can be used in conjunction with API Manager to handle key management functionalities. However, an organization can already have an existing IAM solution that governs the identities of its users who can access those APIs. A need arises to bridge the gap between API management and the identity management of existing users to allow them to create and/or consume the APIs. WSO2 Identity Server 5.0 is capable of building this bridge, and Pushpalanka Jayawardhana, software engineer at WSO2, will be discussing this enterprise use case in this webinar.
This session will take you through:
- Configuring WSO2 Identity Server as the OAuth2 key manager of the API Manager
- Identity federation capability of Identity Server 5.0
- How to connect existing IAM solution with API Manager through identity bridge
