From Gartner’s view, ‘Big data’ refers to high-volume, high-velocity, and high-variety information assets that demand cost-effective, innovative forms of information processing for greater insights and decision making. In other words, it is a collection of data sets so large and complex that it becomes difficult to process using on-hand database management tools or traditional data processing applications.
WSO2 Business Activity Monitor (BAM) offers the required tools to aggregate, analyze, and visualize your big data and derive useful summarized results. These insights can be used for strategic decision making, identifying trends and patterns, monitoring servers, etc.
In this webinar, Dunith Dhanushka and Gihan Anuruddha, senior software engineers at WSO2, will present the new features that will be available in the WSO2 BAM 2.5 release. The session will cover the following:
- Message console and activity dashboard for advanced data visualisations
- Introducing multiple transport adaptor support
- Scheduled Cassandra data deletion
- Upgrading embedded Cassandra version to 1.2
- Puppetizing BAM fully distributed setup
