When an enterprise gets connected, the success of the business relies on how quickly and effectively we can identify game-changing events from the avalanche of events that are produced by the eco system. Enterprise systems, such as enterprise resources planning, system monitoring, stock transaction systems, and financial transaction systems, generate an enormous amount of events that can contain useful data; processing these data efficiently, in real time can provide a competitive edge.

Implementing custom solutions to capture, analyze, and act on these big data imposes challenges and operational complexities. WSO2 CEP 4.0 provides solutions to all of these by delivering low-latency, high-volume high available, and a highly scalable environment, enabling data collection, real-time analysis with Siddhi and highly scalable Apache Storm, and firing notifications of multiple types of events across numerous endpoints.

In this webinar, Sriskandarajah Suhothayan, technical lead at WSO2, will take a closer look at the following use cases:

  • Natural language processing capabilities of WSO2 CEP: Introducing basic constructs of the CEP
  • Analyzing a soccer game in Real time: Explaining how complicated scenarios can be implemented
  • Geo fencing capabilities of WSO2 CEP: Focusing on the CEP’s virtualization support
Sriskandarajah Suhothayan Technical Lead, WSO2 Suho is a Technical Lead at WSO2. Suho focuses on the WSO2 Complex Event Processor. In addition to his product development efforts he has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, including customer QuickStart programs mainly focusing on SAP integration. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka where he specialised in Computer Science and Engineering. As the project lead of his final year project, Suho drove the design and implementation of Siddhi-CEP – a high performance complex event processing engine.
