Webinar Slides

gRPC is a modern open source high performance RPC framework that can run in any environment and is gaining a lot of traction when implementing microservices. It is widely used for service to service communication as well as client to service communication. Exposing these gRPC services securely with other QoS factors like rate limiting, validations, and analytics is a major challenge faced by many microservices developers.

WSO2 API Microgateway is a cloud native, decentralized, lightweight gateway designed for microservices architecture. In this webinar we will focus on how we can expose gRPC services via the microgateway to address these challenges.

This webinar will explore:

  • gRPC concepts and its advantages
  • Authentication for gRPC services via the microgateway
  • Scope based authorization
  • Rate limiting for gRPC services
  • Publishing analytics for gRPC services
  • Scaling gRPC services with load balancing
  • Exposing unary and streaming gRPC services via the microgateway
