In 2022, we awarded over 1100 certifications to developers, sales professionals, and solutions architects. The WSO2 Certified Professional of the Year (WCPY) contest, which was also held in 2020 and 2021, recognizes individuals who show exceptional dedication to increasing WSO2 product expertise by earning a considerable number of WSO2 certifications within the year and contributing to the wider community.

Europe

Mathias has worked as a WSO2 integration engineer since 2020. He’s worked at Integon for the past year, leveraging his understanding of WSO2’s platforms to deliver solutions for his clients. Mathias strives to create efficient and effective outcomes that meet the unique needs of each project and stays up-to-date with industry advancements and regularly improves his skills.

Lakshani was first introduced to our products when she was a WSO2 employee. Since then, she spent over 5 years at Mitra Innovation where she honed her skills and gained further experience on WSO2 integrations with several customers. Last year, she moved to the Netherlands and joined Yenlo as a solutions engineer. Her commitment to the WSO2 community was rewarded with a highly commended award for the WCPY 2021 in the Asia Pacific region.

Asia Pacific

Harish Satyanarayan Madas (Winjit)

Harish Satyanarayan Madas (Winjit)

With over 4 years of experience in delivering end-to-end middleware integration projects using WSO2 products for Indian and Mauritian clients, Harish led WSO2 engagements for customers of Winjit, an official WSO2 Integration partner focused on delivering WSO2’s technology experience and enabling its customers to use our solutions for business success. Harish has been awarded the Business Growth Driver and the Extra Miler Award by Winjit for his outstanding contribution.

Suman has worked as an integration consultant for the past 10 years on different middleware products. Since 2019, he has been working on WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator by upgrading his knowledge and consulting stakeholders to meet their needs. Currently, he works as a middleware consultant at Infosys providing technical expertise in WSO2 solutions to clients and is always looking to explore different middleware and open-source technologies.

Latin America

Amado Demesa Arevalo (Chakray)

Amado works at Chakray Consulting and has over 15 years’ experience in the software industry. He first evaluated and implemented WSO2 in 2016. Since then, he has implemented many products like WSO2 Identity Server, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator for clients in sectors such as government, finance, and telecommunications. He was the winner for this region in 2021 as well.

Flaviano Oliveira Silva

Flaviano has more than 20 years of experience in the field, including 7 years consulting on WSO2’s solutions like WSO2 Identity Server, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator. He currently works as a technical coordinator, middleware consultant, and developer for WSO2 platforms, working on the development of integration services and deployment of WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Identity Server, and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator clusters. He was the first runner-up in the region in 2021 as well.

Nandini is a WSO2 solutions architect at Techolution and heads WSO2’s integration practice. She uses WSO2 products such as WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Micro Integrator to provide cost-effective API management and integration solutions to customers. Nandini has a track record of delivering successful WSO2 implementations that meet client expectations and is an evangelist for WSO2, promoting the use of its products and conducting demonstrations to highlight its capabilities.

Oussama is working at Inetum as an integration consultant. He has helped implement WSO2 API Manager in one of the largest banks in Tunisia and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator in a telecommunications company. He actively promotes API Management, microservices, and Enterprise Integration to various clients in the region and enjoys developing integration solutions with WSO2 and other open-source tools/technologies for different industrial and business needs.

Sharath is an expert in the WSO2 product stack and works as an integration architect for 3Insys. He helps customers improve their business operations through architecture assessments and digital transformation planning. With extensive experience with WSO2’s product stack and cloud native practices, he has designed and implemented API management, integration, and identity management solutions that are resilient, scalable, and future-proof. Sharath has also won this regional award in 2020 and 2021!
