Zelalem Solomon is the Director of the IS Application Management Department at Nib International Bank S.C., Ethiopia. He holds a master’s degree in computer science and an MBA and is also an accomplished author of widely cited books and white papers.

Artem Lajko, certified Kubestronaut and Platform Engineer, specializes in Kubernetes scalability and GitOps-driven workflows. He is the author of Implementing GitOps with Kubernetes, co-founder of connectii.io, and an IT freelancer writing for various publishers. As a Platform Engineering Ambassador, he supports companies and the community in adopting Platform Engineering, Internal Developer Platforms, and related technologies. Passionate about Open Source, he helps organizations choose the right tools, driving tech adoption and innovation.

Kishore Mahbubani is widely considered to be one of Asia’s leading global public intellectuals, having appeared several times in Foreign Policy Magazine’s list of top 100 global thinkers. In 2014, he was also listed by The Financial Times as one of the 50 individuals who would shape the debate on the future of capitalism. Perhaps the best summary of Kishore’s contributions was made in the citation for the US Foreign Policy Association Medal he received in June 2004: “a gifted diplomat, a student of history and philosophy, a provocative writer and an intuitive thinker.”

Kishore has enjoyed three distinguished careers: in diplomacy, academia, and writing and speaking. In diplomacy, he served in the Singapore Foreign Service for 33 years (serving also as permanent secretary (CEO) of the foreign ministry and two stints as Singapore’s Ambassador to the UN). In academia, he was the Founding Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS which is deemed to be the premier school in Asia in its field.

He has also received many awards. In 1967, he was awarded the President Scholar. He was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) by the Singapore Government in 1998. He was also given the 2003–2004 Dr Jean Mayer Global Citizenship Award by the Institute for Global Leadership (IGL) at Tufts University. In April 2019, he was the second Singaporean to be elected as an honorary international member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Anjana Supun is an Associate Technical Lead at WSO2, currently spearheading the development of BI Copilot. In this role, he leads the design and implementation of generative AI–driven code generation and agentic systems features, including data mapping, automated test generation, and code generators, empowering developers to accelerate their integration workflows. He brings deep expertise in generative AI, large language models for code generation, and end-to-end agentic system design, and has guided multiple startups in architecting production-grade AI applications.

His research focuses on small language model–based code generation, and he is passionate about building generative AI applications, scalable distributed systems, and developer tooling.

Prior to moving into the generative AI domain, he worked on Ballerina Central (package registry for the Ballerina language) and led the Code-to-Cloud features, including Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless platforms such as Azure Functions and AWS Lambda. Anjana interned on the Cellery project, a code-first Kubernetes platform for building, running, and managing composite applications. He also completed his final-year project on Code-first Serverless Orchestration.

Ayesha Dissanayaka is spearheading WSO2's pioneering research in IAM for Agentic AI, defining the future of enterprise security for autonomous AI systems. She leads R&D initiatives to identify and solve identity and access management challenges unique to AI agents in enterprise environments.

Previously, Ayesha was the architect and product leader for Asgardeo, WSO2's Identity-as-a-Service solution. Since beginning her career as a software engineer in 2014, Ayesha has evolved into a thought leader in identity management with a decade of expertise in the IAM domain.

He is the Product Manager for Choreo, WSO2’s AI-Native Internal Developer Platform (IDP). With over 15 years of experience, Nuwan has played a key role in shaping WSO2's products and has contributed to with architectures and solutions for Fortune 500 companies, including Boeing, Verizon, Nissan, eBay and more. Nuwan is the author of Microservices Security in Action and a prominent speaker at global tech conferences, where he shares insights on the future of Platform Engineering, API management and Security.

Tishan is a director at WSO2, currently heading eengineering team in Choreo product. In his current role, Tishan spearheads research and development efforts for the Choreo product owning delivery, quality, reliability and availability while nurturing and growing an efficient group of engineers. He has experience over a decade in enterprise integration with WSO2. He has helped multiple clients to design and implement their enterprise integration journey using WSO2 on-prem products in the form of on-site consultations, design reviews, and support issues before moving on to the SaaS offering, Choreo. Experience gathered during that tenure geared his contributions in API-first domain in Choreo product. Later Tishan transitioned to head the engineering team in Choreo BU, utilizing his experience to improve efficiency and quality. Tishan also has experience in the Complex Event Processing domain prior to his integration journey specializing in distributed event processing. He is a published author and presenter in that domain and a contributor to “Siddhi” open source event processing project.

Lakmal Warusawithana is the VP and Distinguished Engineer at WSO2, with extensive experience as a Cloud Architect and Platform Engineer specializing in cloud-native technologies. With a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable platforms, he has been instrumental in simplifying enterprise development through modern infrastructure solutions. Previously, he served as Vice President of the Apache Stratos PaaS Project and co-founded thinkCube in 2005, where he led engineering, scalability, and service delivery for Collaborative Cloud Computing products tailored to telecom operators. She frequently speaks at international technology conferences, where she shares her insights and expertise on various topics such as open banking, security and privacy, digital identity, data science, and digital transformation.

Chintana's role is helping customers to figure out how to architect modern cloud based applications and move their existing workloads to cloud. Rethink and integrate all aspects of application architecture from domain driven design, data architecture, authentication/authorization, and API/integration services. He has over 17 years of experience working large scale enterprises in different industry verticals such as aerospace and finance.

Isabelle began her career nearly three decades ago in France as a C developer at IBM, working on cutting-edge networking technologies. Her passion for problem-solving and technical evangelism quickly led her to roles that spanned the globe, where she supported customers in both presales and professional services roles. Since then, Isabelle has consistently been at the forefront of technological evolution, from the pioneering era of e-business through the shift toward cloud computing, microservices and Kubernetes.

As the founder CTO of 42Crunch, Isabelle used her deep expertise into creating a platform that empowers developers to build secure APIS. At WSO2, she brings her experience to enhance the developer journey across the company’s diverse portfolio.

Frank, the WSO2 Technology fellow, has been a full professor of computer science at the University of Stuttgart, Germany since 2004. He is also the founder and director of the Institute of Architecture of Application Systems. His research interests include middleware, cloud computing, quantum computing, and pattern languages. Before joining the university, he worked at IBM, serving in software development roles. He was also the main co-inventor and chief software architect of IBM's business process management and workflow products. He has received recognition for his technical contributions from leading organizations and is an elected member of the Academy of Europe as well as the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. He holds appointments as a member of the Expert Council for Quantum Computing of the German Government and as a Kurt Gödel visiting professor for Quantum Computing at TU Wien.

Maryam is a senior technical lead at WSO2 with over seven years of experience in the industry. She is a core member of the teams working on the design and the implementation of the Ballerina language, with special focus on the core language and the compiler. Rosen is a Technical Lead at WSO2 with over 7 years of experience building and leading large-scale enterprise software. Rosen currently leads WSO2 Micro Integrator. As the Chief Information Security Officer for WSO2, Nevi leads Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management efforts across the company. He collaborates with engineering, product teams, external regulators and customers to ensure that we meet both security and compliance for WSO2 and our product lines. He provides strategic direction, governance and a customer focus to deliver securely at scale. Nevi has over 25 years of global experience in USA, Canada and Sri Lanka in both private industry and the public sector. His focus on Cybersecurity spans across finance & banking, healthcare, telecommunications, utilities, cloud computing, large scale technology and software development. He holds an MSc. in Information Science from Penn State University, USA and a BSc. in Information Systems from Drexel University, USA.

Krishan Wijesena is a Technical Lead at WSO2 with over eight years of experience in API Management. He is an expert in Kubernetes Gateway, its infrastructure, and federated gateway solutions, with a strong focus on building modern, scalable gateway solutions for cloud-native environments. As a Technical Lead of the API Manager team, he leads the Kubernetes Gateway initiatives and helps customers successfully integrate advanced API management solutions.
