Enterprises grow today with acquisitions, mergers, and partnerships. Integration between systems that were never designed to work together is harder. The Bring Your Own ID (BYOID) concept significantly reduces cost to production by simplifying integration between multiple heterogeneous identity management systems. Logging in to a partner domain with your own Windows credentials (IWA), or with your own Facebook or Twitter accounts, has become a reality with BYOID.

In this session, Prabath Siriwardena Director, Security at WSO2, will focus on benefits, risks, and challenges in BYOID, and explain how you could enable BYOID with WSO2 Identity Server. WSO2 Identity Server plays a vital role in any organization that is transforming into a connected business.

  • BYOID concepts and challenges
  • Identity Federation Patterns and Practices
  • OpenID, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth
  • BYOID with WSO2 Identity Server Demonstration
