All-in-one Package
An all-in-one deployment contains all the API management components in one runtime instance. This is easy to set up and requires less resources when compared with a distributed deployment. Although a distributed deployment provides high performance and a high level of scalability, it may be too complex if you want to set up a small to medium scale API management solution. The all-in-one deployment is ideal if you want to start small and iteratively build up a robust API management platform.
Enterprise Package
WSO2 API Manager can be configured in a distributed deployment, where the relevant nodes only run the product’s specific components. These components can be arranged based on different distributed deployment patterns. The following diagram depicts a simple scalable deployment, which can be set up with WSO2 API Manager. Immutable Package
This package contains the WSO2 Immutable Gateway, which is a lightweight message processor for APIs. It is used for message security, transport security, routing, and other common API management-related quality of services.
The WSO2 API Control Plane can be used as a management plane for the APIs deployed in the Immutable Gateway.

WSO2 API Control Plane
WSO2 API Control Plane is part of the Enterprise Package. This is used as the unified control plane for all types of gateways including the Universal Gateway, Kubernetes Gateway, Immutable Gateway, and Federated Gateways. See our documentation for more information.
WSO2 Universal Gateway
WSO2 Universal Gateway is part of the Enterprise Package and works with the WSO2 API Control Plane and WSO2 Traffic Manager together. See the documentation for more information.
WSO2 Traffic Manager
WSO2 Traffic Manager is part of the Enterprise Package and works with the WSO2 API Control Plane and WSO2 Universal Gateway only. It is used as a regulator for API traffic and features a dynamic throttling engine to process throttling policies in real-time, including rate limiting of API requests. WSO2 Immutable Gateway
WSO2 Immutable Gateway is a cloud native, developer-centric, decentralized API gateway for microservices and is part of the Immutable Package. Please refer to our documentation for more information.

WSO2 API Controller (apictl) is a common-line tool providing the capability to move APIs, API products, and applications across environments and to perform CI/CD operations. It can also be used to perform these same tasks on a Kubernetes deployment. In addition, apictl can be used as a developer CLI tool for the WSO2 Immutable Gateway.
