Joan has a strong background in Big Data, Data Mining and Software development applied to the e-Health sector. He has collaborated on official EU projects and also from the Spanish Government. At present he is focused on the analysis of Big Data collected from eKauri: an e-Health & Smart Home Platform combining Map Reduce Paradigm and Hadoop/Sparks.
