Practitioner Certification: The Starting Point for Your Certification Journey

WSO2 certification gives you a way to prove your knowledge of WSO2 products. The Practitioner certification is the first step, designed for developers who are starting their certification journey with WSO2.

You don’t need a Practitioner certification to take a Developer exam, but it’s a good place to start if:

1. You’re a developer who’s new to WSO2 products and wants to learn the technology and earn a certification.
2. You’ve worked with WSO2 products for a while and want to prove your skills before attempting a Developer exam.
3. You’re a student exploring new technologies.
4. You work for a WSO2 partner and need certifications to maintain or upgrade your partner status.

These Practitioner exams are currently available:

• WSO2 Certified API Manager Practitioner - V4
• WSO2 Certified Integration Practitioner - 2026
• WSO2 Certified Identity Server Practitioner - V7

Each Practitioner exam has 30 multiple-choice questions and runs for 90 minutes. The exams focus on core concepts, so you don’t need extensive hands-on experience. Completing the product’s Fundamentals course on the WSO2 Online Training Platform prepares you for the exam. Each certification page also has sample questions you can try.
