Hatton National Bank (HNB) is an internationally recognized, premier private commercial bank in Sri Lanka. The bank launched HNB Fit - an IoT enabled mobile platform which connects customers’ fitness devices with their bank accounts, in partnership with Fitbit, Apple Watch, and Jawbone.
HNB Fit uses WSO2’s integration and analytics capabilities, and plan to leverage on WSO2’s API management platform to expose their APIs for external consumption securely, monetizing their use to generate new revenue streams.
With WSO2, HNB is able to stay competitive in the digital banking space, connect with increasingly digital-savvy customers, and promote health and fitness in the wider community.
